A question that is often asked by employers is if they supply first aid supplies or have trained first responders are they legally liable.   As long as individuals act reasonable and prudently when giving first aid, you do not need to be worried about any legal action.  The fact is bystanders are encouraged to give first aid in the Good Samaritan Law.

The law protects individuals, companies, and medical professionals who act in good faith.  You have a bigger risk by NOT supplying first aid supplies and providing first aid to an injured individual.  If the person is conscious you will need to get that person’s permission.  If the individual is endangered move the person to safety and call for EMS help while checking to make sure the individual is breathing.
