Heat Exhaustion

Heat exhaustion is the result of excessive loss of water and salt and is usually through excessive sweating.  Individuals with high risk of heat exhaustion are those that work or play outside, work or play indoors with little ventilation have high blood pressure and the elderly.

First Aid

Treat individuals that are suffering from heat exhaustion by moving them into a cool area, use a cold pack, drink a sports drink, and take a cool shower.
