Every business should have a well trained first responder because often times a first responder can make the difference between life and death.  A first responder is an individual that is trained, has proper certification, and a well equipped first aid kit and supplies.

A first responder has basic knowledge on how to treat serious bodily injury and their training prepares them to manage crisis situations.  First responders are generally the first to be called upon when an emergency has unfolded.  Training takes approximately 40 hours to get a certification but does not replace the need for EMT's, nurses, or doctors.
