40% of all eye injuries happen around craft workers but potential hazards to the eye can be found in nearly every industry. An example of craft workers are mechanics, carpenters, plumbers, and industrial equipment operators. Another 30% of those injured were workers on assembly lines and workers using sanders and grinders. 20% of injured workers are labors and 50% of all eye injuries in the above classes of job occurred in manufacturing.
