  GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Sell and service first aid and safety products to customers in a manner that brings the highest quality of customer satisfaction.

· This position entails prospecting to generate new business sales through cold calling and setting appointments with all relevant decision makers.

· The Route Service and Sales Professional also develops and maintains relationships with customers by servicing existing accounts with first aid and safety supplies.

  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Sales experience with ability to generate new sales is a must

· Prospect new clients by making phone contacts, scheduling appointments, and making presentations to decision-makers

· Gain an in-depth understanding of all product lines: first aid kits, first aid supplies and tablets, safety equipment, and OHSA compliance resources in order to sell products that will meet the customer's expectations

· Effectively probe for any service needs of customers and effectively explain company policies and how Western's products and services can be a solution to the clients needs

· Effectively problem solve any product or service issues that may arise

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

· Service accounts and replace products

· Achieve required weekly sales quota

· Determine if a potential customer is financially sound

· Other duties as assigned

  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· Must be a safe, skilled driver with a clean Motor Vehicle Record

· Must possess valid driver's license

· Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet

· Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers

· Strong customer service skills

· Sales experience with ability to generate new sales

· Must be highly organized and strong attention to detail

· Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines

· Ability to analyze and solve problems
