Meet Jim Riggs, President & Founder
Tom is CEO of Western First Aid & Safety. His long and successful entrepreneurial journey took him from door-to-door salesman in 1975 to co-founder and CEO of several large and successful businesses as well as some smaller businesses throughout the U.S. Tom is passionate about raising awareness and funds for a variety of philanthropies throughout the community and beyond.
Meet Rick Washburn, CFO
Rick is the chief financial officer and a partner of Western First Aid & Safety as well as a partner and founder with certified public accounting firm Walsh Washburn LLC. Prior to founding Walsh Washburn, Rick was with Deloitte LLP for 15 years where he served as a director in the Kansas City Tax Department. Rick enjoys spending time with his family and has a love for traveling.
Meet Matthew McDaniel, Sales Manager
As sales manager for Western First Aid & Safety, Matthew’s role is to coach and develop area sales managers within the organization to grow the business in both new and existing markets. Matthew brings 12 years of managerial experience to Western First Aid & Safety, having worked as a manager for G&K Services, a uniform rental and facility products company. Matthew finds motivation in the love of his family and his desire to travel the world.

Meet Lori Driskill, Vice President of Operations
Lori is an office manager with Western First Aid and Safety. She joined the company in 2007 with experience the areas of customer service, financial services and account management. Lori enjoys the constant organizational change in the business which allows the company to grow and offer the best service.
"My philosophy on customer service is being able to listen to their needs, implement the process and follow up to make sure the customer is satisfied. When we do this and show our loyalty, we will retain our customers' business in the future."
Meet Landon Harper, Regional Manager
Landon is the regional manager for Kansas City. He brings 10 years of sales and customer service experience to the Western First Aid team. As a former draft pick for the Detroit Tigers organization, he knows about dedication, determination and commitment.
"I will always put the customer's needs first before mine. I strive for perfection and anything else is second best!"
Meet Jim Craver, Regional Manager
Jim is the regional manager for Southwest Missouri and Arkansas. With more than 12 years of sales and customer service experience, he has been with Western First Aid and Safety since 2009. Jim's philosophy is to stay customer focused and service driven.

Meet Larry Sanders, Regional Manager
Larry is regional manager for Western Kansas and Eastern Colorado. He has been with Western First Aid and Safety since 2007. Larry is a seasoned professional, having held multiple sales and customer service roles. Prior to joining Western First Aid and Safety he worked for Western Uniform for five years. Larry's philosophy is that communication is the most important thing.

Meet Corey Coker, Regional Manager
Corey is Western First Aid & Safety's regional manager for Southern Kansas and Oklahoma. With more than 15 years of experience in route sales and delivery, he joined Western First Aid and Safety in 2015. Corey's philosophy is to always aim to exceed customer expectations.
"The most rewarding thing for me in this job is building relationships with customers and fulfilling their safety needs and requirements."
Meet Jeff Mann, Regional Manager
Jeff has been with Western First Aid and Safety since 2012 and is the regional manager for Southwest Missouri. He brings his years of valuable experience as a U.S. Marine and service sales rep to the table with the goal of servicing every account with honesty and integrity. He is also the Senior Pastor with the CrossBridge Baptist Church in Marshfield, Mo.

Meet Kevin Uhlmann, Regional Manager
Kevin has been with Western First Aid and Safety since 2009. He is the regional manager for Northern Kansas and Western Missouri. He has prior experience in building products sales, and his area of expertise is interpersonal communication with customers. His philosophy on selling is that it takes a few months to gain a customer, but only seconds to lose one.
"What I like most about the industry is getting out and meeting different people from different trades. Also, not being stuck in an office all day is a plus."
Meet Christie Connell, Regional Manager
Christie is regional manager for Western First Aid & Safety's Houston, Texas territory. She brings more than 20 years of sales experience to the job, along with strong business acumen and extensive experience in consulting with new and existing customers to assess needs and find solutions. Christie believes the key to success is building relationships while providing excellent customer service and follow up.

Meet Tara Turnbull, Regional Manager
Tara Turnbull is a Regional Manager for Eastern Missouri and Illinois. She has been with Western First Aid & Safety since 2015. Prior to Western First Aid, Tara worked in motivation solutions at Maritz, an incentive solutions company. Tara most enjoys working with customers to help them in getting the materials and products they need most while building strong relationships.

Meet Chris Minaymyer, Sales Rep
He brings more than 10 years of public and occupational safety experience to the job, along with strong emergency management skills with extensive experience in EMS, FD, Rescue, Hazards Materials, and Safety in industrial settings. Chris believes the key to success is providing excellent customer service, creating lasting relationships, and keeping in contact with new and current customers.

Meet Mike Snead, Regional Manager
Mike is regional manager for Western First Aid & Safety's Tennessee and North Carolina territories. He brings more than 20 years of route sales and customer service experience, having spent the past three years selling first aid and safety equipment in the East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina market. Mike attributes his success to partnering with business owners and safety managers to help them maintain a safe, healthy, and productive workplace.
I gained a wealth of knowledge and specialized training that helped me become a valuable asset for my customers.
Meet Mike Wernel, Controller
Mike is the controller for Western First Aid & Safety. Mike brings several decades of experience, having worked as controller, accounting manager and CFO for multiple industries. He specializes in leading market efforts and providing financial business solutions in support of complex products and services.
Meet Susan McGinness, Warehouse Manager
Susan fills a vital role at Western First Aid & Safety as Warehouse Manager. She oversees all daily operations and develops policies and procedures that increase efficiencies and accuracy for the Western First Aid & Safety team, vendors, and customers. Susan has also served as a project manager, building and maintaining valuable, long-standing relationships with customers and vendors.
Meet Myron Martensen, Shipping Manager
As shipping manager responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing stock, deliveries, and logistics, Myron is responsible for managing warehouse costing, budgeting, and forecasting as well as training staff on stocktaking and stock data. In addition, he monitors stock levels and handles all inventory accounts and database reporting.
